13h00, Les Kalouguine, Angers. Eric Aubry et Julie Hairy de la Paperie nous font visiter à Olivier Saksik et à moi-même, le quartier Monplaisir. En dialogue avec nos projets respectifs, Eric m’offre un livre : L’infra-ordinaire de Georges Perec.

« Ce qui se passe vraiment, ce que nous vivons, le reste, tout le reste, où est-il ? Ce qui se passe chaque jour et qui revient chaque jour, le banal, le quotidien, l’évident, le commun, l’ordinaire, l’infra-ordinaire, le bruit de fond, l’habituel, comment en rendre compte, comment l’interroger, comment le décrire ? […] Mais où est-elle notre vie ? Où est notre corps? Où est notre espace ? […] Comment parler de ces « choses communes », comment les traquer plutôt, comment les débusquer, les arracher à la gangue dans laquelle elles restent engluées, comment leur donner un sens, une langue : qu’elles parlent enfin de ce qui est, de ce que nous sommes. »

"What’s really going on, what we’re experiencing, the rest, all the rest, where is it? How should we take account of, question, describe what happens every day and recurs every day: the banal, the quotidian, the obvious, the common, the ordinary, the infra-ordinary, the background noise, the habitual, how to notice it, how to interrogate it, how to describe it? […] but where is our life? Where is our body? Where is our space? […] How are we to speak of these ‘common things’, how to track them down rather, flush them out, wrest them from the dross in which they remain mired, how to give them a meaning, a tongue, to let them, finally, speak of what is, of what are. »
